Welcome! Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Whatever your faith, culture, life style, or traditions, it's my joy to work with you to custom write a ceremony that's unique, memorable, personal, celebratory, and that expresses your tender emotions in your language of love and commitment. I officiate at weddings, renewals of vows, commitment ceremonies, and all the other rituals that honor the love we've known and shared in our lives. I'm a seminary educated, ordained Unitarian Universalist minister.
I offer non-denominational, interfaith, spiritual, and civil ceremonies,
in your style, and in the language of your beliefs and traditions.
I've served individuals, families, & congregations as a minister since 1994.
I also offer marriage enrichment, spiritual counseling,
support to care-givers, and mentoring to seminarians.
I primarily serve the NC Triangle and eastern NC Triad,
and am licensed to perform weddings in Virginia.
At your wedding, I want you to enjoy your ceremony, to speak to your beloved in words you choose, to drink in the love that surrounds you. I love it when guests come up to me after a ceremony and say 'You know...that was just like them." Then I know that we've honored your love in your way.
Some couples say they don't know where to start in planning their ceremony. That's ok, because I do.
It's a privilege to be a part of your special day!

and I offer you an e-book full of examples for
every element of the ceremony
to see what language and symbolism calls to you.
From all this, we create a ceremony unique to you.
We use email and phone calls to keep planning easy.
In your ceremony, I only speak words
you've chosen or approved.
Standing on the side of love, I joyfully
celebrate weddings for same-sex partners,
and hope one day they'll be legal in NC.

As a UU minister, a wedding minister, a wedding officiant, or a wedding celebrant I primarily serve the NC Triangle and the eastern NC Triad: Orange, Durham, Wake, Chatham, Alamance, Guilford, Person, and Johnston counties and the towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Cary, Mebane, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, Apex, Bahama, Burlington, Efland, and Greensboro. I welcome other requests and will honor them as time permits.
